Supports the new SpleefArena flag in GriefPrevention flags. Fired when
a player is prevented from breaking a block. If cancelled by another
plugin, the break will be allowed.
1) Performance for pistons outside of land claims when they're allowed
to move blocks. 2) When not allowed to move blocks, now allowing
pistons outside land claims to retract when they can't pulling a block.
3) When allowed to move blocks, auto-break sticky pistons for sake of
perf just like I've been doing for non-sticky pistons for a long time.
Mostly these are deprecations from the Spigot team which I believe
shouldn't be deprecated. For example, players refer to each other by
name, not UUID - so there will always be a need for player lookup by
name. Also the block IDs are a well-documented standard that everyone
understands, even if they're not very human-friendly. Plugins use those
IDs and data values to specify block types for example in config files.
As for the rest of the ignores, I either decided the warnings are just
noise based on the situation, or that I'm comfortable with the risks.
Possibly for the first time in 5 years of dev work on this plugin, I
just compiled without any warnings. :)
Some blocks use CPU cycles whenever their chunks are loaded, which is a
griefing opportunity in creative mode worlds. Similar to entity limits,
this limits number of active blocks based on the total area of the land
claim.
For server owners to very quickly and conveniently review chat logs by
day, and optionally GP administrative activity. Also a debug mode for
log entries that would be too noisy for the standard server log.
Except for creepers, explosions may now destroy blocks above sea level
in survival worlds when they originate in a claim with /ClaimExplosions
enabled. They will not destroy blocks outside of that originating
claim.
No longer needed - building at the bottom of a claim now extends the
claim downward, so no important blocks (like chests) will be thievable
by hoppers or hopper mine carts except in extremely rare,
not-manufacturable situations.
/ContainerTrust now grants permission to farm - use bonemeal on crops,
harvest crops, replant crops. Does NOT allow for planting trees or
grass, or preparing new soil.
Much easier to understand and customize, especially for server owners
who are new to GP and have both survival and creative worlds. Also, a
performance improvement - when claim creation is disabled in a world, GP
will not protect any existing claims in that world.
Shortened new player messages to emphasize the tutorial link. Questions
asked on the test server over the years indicate many players try to
muddle through using only the text rather than watching the video, or
don't read the entire text and see the video link.
Building outside of land claims now triggers many fewer warnings, and
those warnings are now always on. They're also more helpful - a link to
the claims tutorial video is included for players with less than 2
claims.
